Relationship between Law, Ethics and Computer Tech - Bloggers Talks
Ethics is a branch of philosophy that addresses questions about morality, the concepts such as good and evil, right and wrong, virtue and vice, justice etc. It is somehow related to law.
Law is defined as a system of rules and guidelines and how these rules and guidelines are being followed or violated. There are certain rules to be followed by man in his everyday life. Definitely there is a corresponding rules concerning his actions. Ethics acts to influence man's mental judgement to follow a certain law. And there are times that man chooses to be good because he is afraid of the laws and the corresponding punishment of it.
Ethics is also related to computer tech. It can be seen in the concept called computer ethics. Computer ethics is a branch of practical philosophy which deals with how computing professionals should make decisions regarding professional and social conduct.
Computer tech also involves dramatic abuses like internet hacking of company websites and online theft of credit card numbers which make different controversies concerning ethical values. As of computer tech become increasingly important all over the world, it also creates different values to the people that as times goes by, be em braved by the whole humanity.
